Provides confidential, non-judgmental emotional support for people experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those that could lead to suicide. You can phone, email, write a letter or in most cases talk to someone face to face.

A national, out-of-hours mental health helpline offering specialist emotional support and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers. We are open every day of the year from 6pm to 11pm.

Tyneside Women's Health offers  tailored mental health and emotional support for women. Their  provide drop-in sessions, mental health courses, support groups,therapeutic activities, councelling and more.
